As an exercise on these concepts, the following definition deforms a grid based on a couple of attraction points. For convenience, the same definition is shown with both component icons and names respectively (Click on images for high resolution versions):
The definition supposedly starts with a simple square grid, and a couple of points:
And builds to the deformed grid shown below:
Though not explained in this section, the definition could be easily adapted to create meshes instead of surfaces, and then using some basic mesh-manipulation components it could be developed into a design. The Weaverbird components were used in the creation of the form in the upcoming image:
